Congregation Beth Israel is almost a century old, first having conducted services in 1909. We have been in our present location since 1974, and currently have about 60 families that make up our membership. At present, the congregation remains unaffiliated and prides itself on being eclectic in its services. We draw extensively from the traditional liturgy, as well as from reconstructionist and reform approaches to Judaism. Activities of the congregation include Religious School, services, and adult education. Life cycle events such as B'nai Mitzvot, weddings, funerals, and baby namings occur periodically.
